The daily operation steps of a powder packaging machine can be divided into three stages: startup preparation, operation, and final cleanup , with the specific process as follows (taking a common automatic powder packaging machine as an example):
I. Pre-start Preparation
Safety Check
Check whether the power and air sources are normal, and whether the emergency stop button is reset.
Confirm that all parts of the equipment (screws, hoppers, weight sensors, etc.) are free from looseness or foreign objects.
Cleaning and Lubrication
Clean any residual powder from the hopper and discharge port to avoid cross-contamination (especially when changing materials).
Lubricate moving parts (such as guides and bearings) according to the equipment manual.
Material Preparation
Check whether the powder is dry and free of agglomeration, and sieve it if necessary.
Load the material into the hopper (it is recommended to use a vacuum loader for automatic feeding).
Parameter Setting
Set parameters according to packaging Specification:
Target weight (e.g., 500g/bag)
Filling speed (screw speed or vibration feeding frequency)
Heat sealing temperature/time (for film bag packaging)
Install matching packaging bags/film rolls and adjust the bag maker Size.
II. Operation
No-load Test Run
Start the equipment to run idle and observe whether the screw, conveyor belt, and sealing device are running smoothly.
Test the accuracy of the weighing system (calibration can be done by placing weights).
Formal Production
Turn on the dust removal system (if any) and start the automatic filling mode.
Monitor the following key points:
Discharging accuracy (regularly check the weight; adjust the screw or vibration parameters if the error exceeds the range).
Sealing quality (check whether the sealing edge is flat and free of powder leakage).
Dust control (ensure that the dust hood is working effectively).
Exception Handling
In case of material blockage, weighing deviation, or poor sealing, immediately stop the equipment and restart after troubleshooting.
III. Shutdown and Cleaning
Normal Shutdown
Empty the remaining powder in the hopper to prevent moisture absorption or agglomeration.
Turn off the power and air sources, and release the residual pressure in the equipment.
Thorough Cleaning
Disassemble the washable parts (such as screws and hoppers) and use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to clean the powder.
Wipe the photoelectric sensors and weighing modules with alcohol or a dust-free cloth (to avoid affecting sensitivity).
Clean the dust collector filter to prevent blockage.
Record and Handover
Fill in the production log (batch, output, fault records).
Inform the equipment status and unresolved issues during shift handover.
